San Fran (repost with commentary)

UPDATE 3
after Colorado we drove 2 days up to Portland, to stay with my pal Adam for a few days,…him and his 8 cats and dog, hahaha.
super cute cats, *here are a few fotos of a few of the cats:

Clyde, the last cat pictured, was our buddy. =)*The Portland show was cool, not alot of people but we ended up playing for an hour and 20 mins cuz they wanted more. [info]hrpukensheet took good care of us.

*i had a good show here, after they got the fire alarms to stop that is. =P *
Next day we drove up to Seattle, same sized crowd Id say maybe 60 people. But all the Seattle crew came out: [info]krautboy (see next photo), [info]machine_logic, [info]syren666, [info]r1v3theather, [info]tu160 and the rest…Good show

On the way back to Portland was the accident:
++++++++++
A Death on the way back to Portland from Seattle…
we were on the same part of this road about 4 minutes before this happened….
We were at a gas station about 30 feet away when this took place.
we saw the second car shoot into the parking lot and park ( the man that was rear-ended) and we thought the scraping sound was him dragging something. turns out that was the jeep flipping over.

“Two Car Collision Claims Life of Local Man

KENT, WA – September 22, 2006

A 25 year old SeaTac man died instantly after he was ejected from his Jeep during an early morning traffic collision in west Kent.

Personnel from the Federal Way Fire Department pronounced the man dead immediately after the collision, which occurred just after 2:00 AM in the 2100 block of S. 272 Street. The crash also involved a second car, driven by a 70 year old Federal Way resident. That man was transported to St. Francis Hospital for minor injuries and observation.

Investigation revealed that the victim had recently left a local tavern. While driving west along S. 272 St, the SUV struck the second car from behind, then veered off the road. As it did, the truck rolled over several times. The unrestrained driver was ejected during the rollover.

Sgt. Pat Lowery noted that speed and intoxication appear to have contributed to the collision. “These types of collisions are always troubling to investigate” said the sergeant. “They are easily prevented if people just use common sense and don’t drink and drive”.

Preliminary investigation does not indicate fault on the part of the second driver. The road was closed for about 4 ½ hours while Police interviewed several witnesses at the scene and collected evidence. Their investigation continues pending medical and toxicology examination, as well as a reconstruction of the collision events.

Kent Police want to remind all motorists that seatbelts save lives. Sgt. Lowery noted “The fact that this victim was not wearing a seatbelt when he lost control significantly contributed to his injuries. Our experience shows that people can survive these crashes if they just wear their seatbelts.”

The next day we ended up sleeping most of the day as we were quite wiped out and kinda broke…2 days of driving and spending $$ on gas and hotels for 2 days/nights to get to Portland kinda wiped us out. Got up early Saturday and made the 11 hour drive to San Francisco/ Bay Area. Met up with [info]nsidious and his gal and stayed with them.
*she had the craziest kitty, we nicknamed Bezerker Cat:
such a cutie!!!
but CAHRAZY:
but she wouldnt bite hard ever.

they were so nice to let us totally take over her house!! what a great book collection too.*

San Francisco show was GREAT. We had to get to the club mad early,…noon, to do sound check but we first met up with [info]deathguild for breakfast.
Got to the club and did sound check early as they were opening at 2pm for the Folsom St. Festival. [info]starscream242 met us there. We cruised around the Street Fest for a bit but there was WAY too many people so you could hardly walk….we hightailed it to Haight to check out some shops. Finally the show!!!
*i have to admit i was nervous after all seeing all the people coming in and out of the club. lol, so i was alittle awkward on stage. hahahah oh well. but Kyronfive got some really nice photos of me:

San Fran was so much fun. such a cool place!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

[info]starscream242 joined me on stage for the evening, and did an excellent job.I was also unexpectedly joined on stage by [info]blaugirl and [info]rabbitron….

[info]rabbitron for his efforts, received a paddling, which resulted in the paddle shattering upon first impact.
Was good to see everyone in SF, [info]hafnir, [info]kyronfive [info]intoner and the rest of the crew up there!

Today we are relaxing and just lounging before making teh drive to Hollywood,….oh the madness is coming,…..
